Bakong Temple is a famous temple located in Or Lok Village, Rolous Commune, Prasat Bakong District, Siem Reap Province, in the center of Hariharalaya and south of Preah Ko Temple. This temple was built during the reign of King Indravarman I in 881 AD to dedicate to Brahmanism.

With the attention of the APSARA Authority, the Bakong temple is now planted with ornamental grass, and the team of the APSARA Authority has taken care of the maintenance, such as regular watering. The reason why APSARA Authority has planted more grass in the compound of Bakong temple is to make it beautiful, green, attractive and appreciative for all tourists who visit this temple.
